6.3.2 Installing a Revolving Door

Step 1 Assemble the door frame.

Place the door posts and upper frame mounting kit on the floor, pull the post side plates
from the ends of the door posts, and remove the side plates, as shown by (1) and (2) in
Figure 6-15.
Assemble the door frame by connecting the two door posts and upper frame mounting kit
with six M6 screw assemblies, as shown by (3) in
After the assembly is complete, verify that the posts are flush with the upper frame
mounting kit.
Store the side plates you removed from the door frame.

Stand the assembled door frame.
Partially secure (do not fully tighten the fasteners) left and right posts to the skylight
connective plates using four M6 screws, flat washers, and nuts (two at each side), as
shown by (1) in Figure
Secure the bottom of one door post to the cabinet or enclosure frame using two M6
screws and square washers. The door posts on both sides require four screws, as shown
by (2) in Figure 6-16.
Verify that the posts are flush with the cabinet frame.
