Step 2 Remove the plug and install a pagoda connector.
1. Remove the thermal insulation foam on the plug, as shown by (1) in
2. Heat the plug threads for about 10 minutes at a distance of 2 cm using a heat gun to
soften the thread sealant, as shown by (2) in
3. Use two adjustable wrenches when removing the plugs. Use one 36 mm wrench to
secure the drain plug and use the other 36 mm wrench to tighten the nut to avoid pipe
deformation. The wrench securing the plug is shown by (3) in
4. Remove the sealant residues from the threaded joints using a steel brush. Ensure that the
residues do not fall into the water pan. Clean the threaded connector, as shown by (4) in

5. For internal screw threads, apply thread sealant to the first to third thread circles
counting from the pipe outlet inward. For external threads, apply thread sealant to the
third to second last thread circles counting from the pipe outlet inward. For details, see

Based on the hardening property of thread sealant, perform leakage test with nitrogen only 8
hours after a conversion adapter is connected.
6. Apply thread sealant to the joints of external screw threads and install pagoda connectors
from inside to outside, as shown by (6) in
