OIL PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Perform the following procedures for removal and installation of the oil pressure and temperature

Oil Pressure and Temperature Sensor Removal

Removal the oil pressure and temperature sensor as follows:

1. Loosen the oil filter cap. Lift up the cap and filter to allow the oil to drain. Inspect the

O-ring for damage and replace if necessary.

2. Disconnect the wiring connector from the oil pressure/temperature sensor. See Figure 3-24.

3. Remove the oil pressure/temperature sensor.

Oil Pressure and Temperature Sensor Installation

Install the oil pressure and temperature sensor as follows:

1. Position the oil pressure/temperature sensor and install the mounting screws. Tighten the

fasteners 10 N·m (7 lb·ft).

2. Connect the wiring harness at the oil temperature sensor.

3. Using a new O-ring (if necessary), install the oil filter cap. Tighten the nut 25 N·m (18
