Exporting the Slices on the Controller
Once you are satisfied with the proposed and/or manually adjusted Slices (see section
↑16.4.2, Adjusting the Slicing
original Sample and create these Slices. This is done via the two commands at the top of the
right display:

Choosing a Destination for the Slices
Press Button 8 (APPLY...) to export the Slices to any Sound or Group in your Project.
The displays switch to a Selection mode allowing you to choose a destination for the ex-
ported Slices.

In this Selection mode, you can choose to export the Slices to a Sound or to a Group.
To export the Slices to a Sound:
1.
Select the Group containing the target Sound by pressing its Group button A–H. If your
Project has more than eight Groups, you can use Button 3 and 4 to first select the desired
Group bank.
The selected Group button starts flashing and the corresponding Group is highlighted on
the left display. In addition the pads now represent the Sound slots of that Group.

Select the target Sound by pressing its pad.
The Group button stops flashing, the selected pad starts flashing to indicate that it is now
the target.
