Using the Side-Chain Input

For certain Plug-ins, MASCHINE allows you to use a side-chain input to control how the effects
process the audio.
Procedure
Press
SHIFT
+ Button 3.
The Browser automatically opens and lets you select the
desired effect preset to be inserted after the Plug-in currently
selected.
Use the Plug-in Browser (press
Browser (BROWSE) as described in section
an Effect
above.
Press
SHIFT
+ Button 8.
The effect is removed from the Plug-in slot and all following
effects are shifted one slot up to fill the gap.
Press
SHIFT
+ Button 5/6 to move the effect to the previous/
next slot, respectively.
Press
SHIFT
+ Button 7.
Use the Browser (press BROWSE) to access and load any
effect preset. See section
from the Library
for more on this.

+ Button 2 (EDIT).
