DS1/E1 Input Module Alarms and Events

and includes the typical response for each alarm or event, it's event number, and a
description or a suggested corrective action. The SNMP MIB trap is listed in the
Alarm/Event/Trap Description column.

Verify signal is connected. To extinguish, disable port.
Verify input signal is good. Port can be disabled.
Change frame type:
DS1–ESF or D4
E1–CAS or CCS
Verify port ZS is on. Verify signal is good.
Verify port CRC is off. Verify signal is good.
MTIE limit 1 has been exceeded.
MTIE limit 2 has been exceeded.
Received SSM (PQL) is below provisioned PQL.
Set port SSM to Off to clear.
Re-seat module, or correct the input signal to clear the fault.
Re-seat module.
Verify input frequency setting. Re-seat module.
Re-seat module.
Input frequency greater than threshold. Monitor frequency; if
persistent, check source.
Input module can be installed only in the Main shelf.
If module is installed in slot previously used by a different module
type, use the CONF xAy REMOVE command.
