This Safety User Manual describes AC500-S Safety PLC system. It provides detailed information on how to

install, run, program and maintain the system correctly in functional safety applications up to SIL3 according

to IEC 61508 ed. 2, IEC 62061 and Performance Level e according to ISO 13849.

ABB's AC500 series is a PLC-based modular automation solution that makes it easy to mix and match

standard and safety I/O modules to meet automation market requirements.
