SECTION 1. DESCRIPTION
1. Genera I
The generator set covered by these instructions is a self-propelled unit (see Fig. 1)
manufactured by Motor Generator Division, Hobart Brothers Company, Troy, Ohio
45373, and is identified as Model No. 9OC24S, Specification No. 5381A. Instruc-
tions for optional variations are included.
The purpose of the generator set is to supply regulated 115-V AC, 400-Hz power to
a parked aircraft for operation of the aircraft's electrical equipment when the on-board
generators are not running .
