Engine

Steam clean engine
There are several
reasons why the engine exterior
should be kept clean.
Dirt
on the outside
will
enter
fuel and oil filter
cases and rocker housings
when covers are removed unless dirt
is removed first.
A clean engine
will
run cooler and develop
less "hot-spots".
Steam cleaning
is one of the most satisfactory
methods of cleaning
an
engine,
however
there are some CAUTIONS
to be observed.

ENGINE.

Check vibration
damper
The damper hub and inertia
member are stamped with
index marks to permit
detection
of movement between the two parts (see Fig.
2).
There should be
no indication
of movement between the hub and the inertia
member.
If
index marks are not aligned,
replace
vibration
damper.
