loosen locknut
(6) and either
thread extension
rod (4)
farther
onto
the core (7),
or back it off,
as required
to reposition
finger

to obtain a clearance
(A) of l/16
to l/8
inch between arm (1) and finger
(2).
NOTE:
Nut
(6) must be tight
against
finger
(2) when checking
clearance.

arm (1) throughout
its full
travel
to make certain
it will
not touch any

Chassis Comoonents
Adiustment
Since mobile operation
is limited
(mileagewise)
for this unit,
wear and adjustment
of
chassis parts should be minimal.
Adjustments
most like ly to be required
are covered here.
A.
Clutch
Pedal Adjustment
The clutch
pedal adjustment
should be checked at once when the clutch
does not
'
engage or disengage
properly,
or when transmission
gears are difficult
to engage.
An improperly
adjusted
clutch
linkage
can cause slippage
and complete
clutch
failure.
