SELF-PROPELLED GENERATOR SET, SPEC. NO. 5381A
Be sure all coolant drains are closed and install proper mixture of new coolant.
Bleed hydraulic brake system in accordance with 2-3, Para. 4, E, and adjust
brakes if required in accordance with 2-3, Para. 4, D.
Adjust clutch pedal as required in accordance with 2-3, Para. 4, A.
Check and inspect the complete unit in accordance with 1-2, Para. 2.
Lift the vehicle and remove blocks or jack stands.
Start the engine and allow it to idle.
Check coolant level and add coolant
as required.
CAUTION: BE SURE THAT TRAPPED AIR HAS BEEN EXPELLED AND
THAT THE COOLING SYSTEM IS FULL.
Test and adjust the unit as required. Ref. 2-2, and 2-3.
Install canopy top and doors.
Install control box and canopy access covers
(Ref. Fig. 1).
