left front,
right
rear,
and left rear.

Close
bleeder tank valve and remove brake bleeding
equipment.
(i)
Be sure master cylinder
is filled.
Install
filler
cap and access cover,
and lower vehicle.

Gearshift
Micro
Switch
Adjustment
Improper adjustment
of this switch
could cause the engine to stop when the
generate-drive
switch
is placed in GEN
position.
Check and adjust the switch
as follows:
(1)
Remove floorboard.
(2)
Place gearshift
lever (Figure
19,
item 2) in NEUTRAL
position,
and check
the relative
positions
of Micro
switch
button
(6) and trip arm (1).
The switch
actuating
button
(6) should extend
from the switch
(4) to its full
ON position
and be located
in the trip arm notch (7).
If the switch
is out of position,
proceed to step (3).

Loosen nuts (5) and screws (3) sufficiently
to allow
screws to move in adjusting
slots provided
in the mounting
bracket
(8).
(4)
Move the switch
(4) away from the trip arm (1) until
button (6) is free of the
arm.
,
(5)
Reposition
switch
(4) so that button
(6) is located in the notch
(7),
but not
touching .
(6)
Tighten
nuts (5) and screws (3).
Check the adjustment
by observing
trip arm
(1) and switch
button
(6) action
when the gearshift
lever (2) is moved into a
gear selection
position .
Cam action
of the trip arm should actuate
the switch
button to open switch
contacts,
and allow
the button to return
to ON position
when the lever is placed in neutral.
(7)
Replace
floorboard.
