(4) Install fan cover (1, Fig. 2), and secure with machine screws.
(5) Install exciter cover (2, Fig. 7).
(6) Lift generator and remove wooden blocks as required to lower assembly to the
floor.
(7) Lower the generator and remove hoist, chain, and lifting eye.
CAUTION: BE SURE THE ASSEMBLY IS BLOCKED SUFFICIENTLY TO HOLD
IT IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION .
I. Reinstall Engine-Generator Assembly
Reinstall the engine-generator assembly in the chassis and test in accordance
with instructions in 4-1, Para. 3, A and B.
