C. Corrections
(1) Tighten or resolder any faulty connections.
(2) Replace any component showing any signs of approaching failure. Use the
connection diagrams in 5-l to make certain new parts are correctly connected
when insta I led.
3. Generator
The generator will require periodic overhaul, mainly for replacement of mechanical
parts - the bearings.

Remove the engine-generator assembly in accordance with instructions in 4-1,
Para. 2, A and B.
B. Disconnect Generator from Engine
(1) Install a l/2-13 lifting eye in the generator stator housing and attach a hoist as
shown in Fig. 1 .
