At no-load,
the governor

control
engine
speed with a control
box
output
(actuator input)
of 2 V to 4 V DC.
At full
load,
the voltage-will
be 0.5
V to 1.0 V DC higher than no load value.
Response time and
stability
of the system are adjustable
by two potentiometers
identifie'd
as "GAIN"
and "RESET-DROOP"
controls
cn the electric
control
box

Excitation-deenergization
circuit
The purpose of this circuit
is to supply
12-V
DC power through
the two:position
switch
(3s) for closing
the excitation-deenergization
relay
(EDR) and maintain-
ing it in closed position
to supply AC power to the voltage
regulator
(REG),
and DC power to the GOVERNOR
CONTROL
BOX
in GEN
mode.
