Analog Multiline Telephones with Voice
Announce to Busy
Use this procedure to dedicate a voice or voice pair to be used to provide the
Voice Announce to Busy feature to an analog multiline telephone.
The extension number associated with the first (odd-numbered) extension jack
in the pair is the telephone's extension number. The extension number for the
second (even-numbered) extension jack is dedicated to the Voice Announce to
Busy feature. Calls cannot be placed to the extension jack reserved for the
Voice Announce to Busy feature.
Voice Announce to Busy must be disabled at data stations.
NOTE:
This procedure does not apply to MLX telephones (Voice Announce to Busy is
automatically provided) and cannot be programmed for single-line telephones.
