Symptom
The inverter trips
with a thermistor er-
ror (alarm code: 14).
The output frequen-
cy is unstable.
The torque is insuffi-
cient.
Operating the inver-
ter activates the
earth leakage
breaker.
The DC injection
braking function
does not work.
The inverter trips
with an undervolt-
age (alarm code:
0A).

Possible cause
24-VDC voltage is input to the
PTC terminal.
The parameter settings are in-
appropriate.
The load changes significantly.
The power supply voltage fluc-
tuates.
The parameter settings are in-
appropriate. (During accelera-
tion/constant speed)
The parameter settings are in-
appropriate. (During decelera-
tion)
The leakage current from the
inverter is too large.
The DC injection braking power
is not set.
The DC injection braking time is
not set.
The voltage dropped because
the power supply capacity is in-
sufficient.
Remedy
Remove 24-VDC voltage from the PTC ter-
minal.
Change the output frequency value slightly
away from the power supply frequency.
Change 1st Output Current Fluctuation
Damping Gain (3008Hex-51Hex) and 2nd
Output Current Fluctuation Damping Gain
(3009Hex-2AHex).
Increase the motor/inverter capacity.
Take measure to reduce the fluctuation.
Increase 1st Manual Torque Boost Voltage
(3004Hex-0AHex)/2nd Manual Torque
Boost Voltage (3009Hex-06Hex).
Set 1st Torque Boost Function Selection
(301FHex-0DHex) and 2nd Torque Boost
Function Selection (301FHex-0EHex) to "1:
Automatic torque boost."
Decrease the Carrier Frequency
(3004Hex-1BHex) value.
Set 1st Drive Control Selection
(3004Hex-2BHex)/2nd Drive Control Selec-
tion (3009Hex-0FHex) to "5: IM Vector con-
trol without speed sensor."
Increase the deceleration time
(3004Hex-09Hex/3005Hex-0CHex/
3005Hex-0EHex/3005Hex-10Hex).
Set 1st AVR Function Selection
(301FHex-17Hex)/2nd AVR Function Se-
lection (301FHex-18Hex) to OFF.
Use braking resistors or regenerative brak-
ing units.
Decrease the Carrier Frequency
(3004Hex-1BHex) value.
Increase the sensitivity current of the earth
leakage breaker. Or, replace the earth
leakage breaker with one with a higher
sensitivity current.
Set 1st DC Injection Braking Level
(3004Hex-16Hex)/2nd DC Injection Brak-
ing Level (3009Hex-0BHex).
Set 1st DC Injection Braking Time
(3004Hex-17Hex)/2nd DC Injection Brak-
ing Time (3009Hex-0CHex).
Increase the power supply capacity.
