Symptom
The inverter trips
with an overcurrent
protection during
operation.

Possible cause
The acceleration time is set too
short.
The load is too heavy.
1st Overload Protect Function
Selection
(3004Hex-2CHex)/2nd Over-
load Protect Function Selection
(301FHex-2FHex) is set to "0:
Disable."
If an overcurrent trip occurs during operation although the overload limit func-
tion is enabled:
1st Overload Protect Level
(3004Hex-2DHex)/2nd Over-
load Protect Level
(301FHex-30Hex) is too high.
Remedy
Increase the acceleration time
(3004Hex-08Hex/3005Hex-0BHex/
3005Hex-0DHex/3005Hex-0FHex).
Use the acceleration/deceleration stop
function to change the operation pattern to
stop accelerating temporarily.
Reduce the load.
Use the torque boost function to adjust the
torque.
With 1st Drive Control Selection
(3004Hex-2BHex)/2nd Drive Control Selec-
tion (3009Hex-0FHex) set to "0: IM V/f con-
trol," set "Free V/f voltage
(301FHex-44Hex/301FHex-46Hex/
301FHex-48Hex/301FHex-4AHex/
301FHex-4CHex/301FHex-4EHex/
301FHex-50Hex)" or "5: IM Vector control
without speed sensor" and "15: PM Vector
control without speed and pole position

Protect Function Selection

Decrease 1st Overload Protect Level
