2.7 Replacing the shock tower
13. Remove the 3x2 structural rivets connecting the
windscreen valence and the shock tower.
NOTE!
Retrieve all the rivets, using a magnet if
necessary, as any remaining rivets will cause
noise when the vehicle is in use.
14. Sand the weld points at the ends of the windscreen
valence connecting the part with the shock towers.
NOTE!
Do not remove any other material from the
upper diagonal brace.
