Refitting the complete engine
Working underneath the vehicle, install the tool
(AV
8254) onto the chassis, tightening the two
screws indicated, to support the weight of the
engine and prevent it from tipping.
Remove the block (F) fitted previously.
Use a feeler gauge to check that the gap between
the retainer bracket (44) and the engine
mounting bush (43), along the "X" axis, is
between 1.2 mm and 2.8 mm.
Use a feeler gauge to check that the gap between
the retainer bracket (44) and the engine
mounting bush (43), along the "Z axis, is
between 1.2 mm and 2.8 mm.
