Refitting the ancillary belt
Check the tension of the ancillary belt (
Work from underneath the vehicle.
With a 15 mm (1) fixed wrench applied to the
tensioner pulley fastener screw (2), rotate the
mobile tensioner counterclockwise to loosen the
belt and enable its removal, first from the pulley
on the A.C. compressor, then from the other
pulleys.
Remove the worn belt (A).
In order not to damage the belt, do not fold it
with sharp corners and do not let it come
into contact with oil or fuel.
Working by hand only and using no tools, fit the belt
(A) as originally installed onto the relative pulleys
and tensioners.
