Performing a Line Rate Test

The Line Rate test determines the line clock rate of the
communications channel. This is done by checking for the
difference in Hz between the line clock rate and aurora
internal precision clock.
You can set up a Line Rate Test from the Physical Status
window. To do this:
Press the function key labelled Line Rate (or press
MENU and select the Line Rate option from the
menu). The Line Rate Test window is displayed :
Starting the test
Press F1 Start Line-Rate (or press MENU and select
the Start option). The test begins and the following
is displayed :
Line Rate the calculated line frequency from the
