Setting the Frame Length
To specify the length of the transmitted frames:
Highlight Length in the Frame Load Test Config
menu and press the RIGHT arrow key to display
the Length sub-menu.
Enter the frame length. This value must be within
the given range or *CHECK RANGE* is displayed.
The default frame length is 64.
Press ENTER to save and exit the Length sub-
menu. The frame-length entered is now displayed in
the Setup Test Config window.
Specifying the Frame Count
To specify the number of frames which are to be generated
during the test :
Highlight Count in the Frame Load Test Config
menu.
Press the RIGHT arrow key to display the Count sub-
menu.
Use the number keys to input the frame count. This
value must be within the given range or *CHECK
RANGE* is displayed. The default frame count is
zero - this results in continuous transmission of
frames until Stop Test is selected.
Press ENTER to save and exit the Count sub-menu.
Displaying Transit Delay Timestamps
Timestamps are included in the transmitted frames and these
are used to calculate the transit delay. The transit delay is the
length of time taken for the frame to traverse the network.
Highlight Timestamp in the Frame Load Test Config
menu.
