Starting results capture
• Choose Start Log to start capturing results to file.

Caution
Do not power-off aurora
file may be lost.
Stopping capture
• Choose Stop Log to stop the capture.
Tip
You can view the results you have just captured using the
File Manager - please refer to Chapter 7 for further
information.

Downloading Results via the Serial Port

• Connect the supplied RS232 cable to aurora
other end should be connected to a PC.
Downloading current results
• Choose Log Serial immediate to download the
currently displayed results via the serial port.
Downloading results at set intervals
• Alternatively, to download results to file at various
intervals, highlight Log To Serial and press ENTER
or the RIGHT arrow key to toggle this option to
display a tick ( ).
• Now highlight Log To Serial Interval and press
ENTER or the RIGHT arrow key to display a sub-
menu of times. Choose the appropriate time period
(for example, select 1 Min to download results to file
every minute).
Starting the download
• Choose Start Log to start transmitting the results down
the serial port.
