Including a parity bit
You can add a parity bit to the transmitted data to suit the
device you are connected to.
• Choose Parity to display a sub-menu of parity bit
options.
• Highlight the appropriate option and press ENTER to
save your selection and exit the sub-menu. The parity
options are as follows :
None
Odd
Even
Including stop bits
You can choose to transmit either 1 or 2 stop bits.
• Choose Stop Bits to display a sub-menu.
• Choose from 1 bit or 2 bits and press ENTER to save
your selection and exit the sub-menu.
Specifying flow control
You can switch the flow control protocol on or off.
• Choose Flow Control to display a sub-menu of flow
control options as follows :
None
XON/XOFF
RTS/CTS
• Highlight the appropriate option and press ENTER
to save your selection and exit the sub-menu.
