Performing a Ping Receive Test

This test lets you configure aurora
Ping command from another device.
• Choose PING Receive Test in the Setup Test Config
menu to display the PING Receive Test Config menu.
Specifying the Tempo' s IP address
Tempo's IP address tells aurora
Ping command to this address. To specify the IP address of
the Tempo in dotted decimal format you input each
individual part of the decimal. The following diagram shows
how each part of this value is made up :
Tempo' s IP addr .bbb Tempo' s IP addr .ccc
Tempo' s IP addr aaa.
123 . 123 . 123 . 123
• Highlight Tempo' s IP addr aaa and press the RIGHT
arrow key to display the Tempo' s aaa. sub-menu.
• Enter the first part of the decimal value. This must be
within the given range or *CHECK RANGE* is
displayed.
• Press ENTER to save and exit the sub-menu. The
Setup Test Config window displays the first part of
the source IP address.
• Now repeat the above steps for Tempo' s IP addr .bbb,
Tempo' s IP addr .ccc, and Tempo' s IP addr .ddd to
input the rest of the source IP address.
