Activating & Deactivating Remote Loops
Activating a loop code
To start transmitting loop codes to establish a loop at the
receiving end :
Press F1 Send Loop Activation to display a sub-menu
of loop codes. The loop codes displayed depend on the
type of framing (ESF or SF).
Choose a loop code - your selection is displayed in the
Remote Loop Test window.
Press F5 Stop Sending Loop Code to stop the
transmission of loop codes (note the function key
displays a different option after selection).
The Remote Loop Test window displays Loop
Established if the loop has been successfully established
at the receiving end, otherwise Loop Not Established is
shown.

If aurora
currently in the Remote Loop Test window, it displays
the following window when it receives a loop code:
Issue 1a - 10/99
is acting as the receiving end, and it is not
