Understanding the Traffic Display

The display shows a partial decode of the Frame Relay
traffic. The following table provides an explanation of
the data displayed:

You can also display data in full decode format - please

The following diagram illustrates a typical example of
summary decode output from an SVC Call Setup and Clear
Down.

Frame Relay Testing - Section 2
Description
The time (in HH:MM:SS:hundreds of
microseconds) that the frame was sent or received.
The interface the frame was sent or
received on.
Frame was transmitted (Tx).
Frame was received (Rx).
Data Link Connection Identifier value.
F
- indicates FECN was set
B
- indicates that BECN was set
D
- indicates that DE was set
Information such as SABME or RR.
Local Management Interface information.
For example, 'Keep Alive Status Enquiry'.
Hexadecimal octets which make up the
whole frame.
