Setting up a User-defined Header
If you choose to use a user-defined header, it will be used
to replace some, or all, of the frame headers sent in the
frame load test.

• Congestion on the link you are testing; by setting the
FECN (Forwards Explicit Congestion Notification),
BECN (Backwards Explicit Congestion Notification)
and DE (Discard Eligibility).
• Illegal frames; by setting the other bits to simulate
frame errors.
To create a user-defined header:
• Highlight User Defined Header in the Frame Load
Test Config menu.
• If a cross is displayed, press the RIGHT arrow key
once to display the User Defined Header sub-
menu.

twice to display the User Defined Header sub-
menu.
