Creating a New Filter

• Choose Create New from the Filter operation menu
to display a window which lets you enter a filter name
of up to 8 characters in length. This window is
described below :
Entering a filter name
• Position the flashing cursor in the file name display area
- press F1 to move the cursor to the left, press F6 to
move the cursor to the right.
• Use the UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys on
the cursor pad to navigate through the character set.
The currently selected character is highlighted in a box.
• Press ENTER to choose the currently highlighted
character. The character appears in the file name
display area. You can also enter digits directly using the
keypad.
• Repeat the above process until you have defined the file
name.
Tips
• To delete a character, position the flashing cursor over
the character you want to delete (using F1 and F6) and
press F4 Delete.
