Appendix 2 - Call Clear Cause Codes
User busy
The called user is busy and therefore cannot accept
another call. This cause code may be generated by
either the called user or the network.
No user responding
Indicates that the called user has not responded to
call establishment messages within the allowed time.
Call rejected
Equipment sending this cause does not wish to
accept the call although the equipment is not busy or
incompatible.
Destination out of order
The destination cannot be reached and signalling
messages are not being delivered.
Invalid number format (address incomplete)
The called party number is invalid or incomplete.
Facility rejected
The network cannot provide the supplementary
service requested.
Response to STATUS ENQUIRY
This indicates that the reason for generating the
STATUS message was the prior receipt of a STATUS
ENQUIRY message.
Normal, unspecified
Used to report a normal event only when no other
cause in the normal class applies.
No circuit/channel available
An appropriate circuit/channel is not currently
available to handle the call.
