Use this option to determine the
numbering plan format you
wish to use. Press the RIGHT
arrow key to display a sub-
menu and choose from the
following options:
This option is only available if
you have chosen User Defined
numbering plan. Use this option
to determine the form of
encoding you want to use. Press
the RIGHT arrow key to display
a sub-menu, and choose from
the following options:
Description
IA5 (International Alphabet 5), enables you
to enter all the characters displayed.
Binary Coded Decimal, enables you to enter
the characters 0 to 9
Hexadecimal, enables you to enter the
characters 0 to 9 and A to F .
Press the ENTER or the RIGHT
arrow key to display a window.
If you have chosen IA5 encoding
you can enter a sub-address of
up to 20 characters.
If you have chosen BCD or HEX
encoding you can enter a sub-
address of up to 40 digits.
