Resetting BER Test Results

You can reset the counters to zero while a BER Test is
running.
Press F6 Reset Results (or press MENU and select
Reset Results). The counters are reset.

Injecting Bit Errors

Injecting Single Bit Errors
Bit errors are sometimes called BERT errors or logic errors.
Press F2 Inject Bit Error while a BER Test is running to
inject a single bit error into the transmitted data
stream.
Injecting Multiple Bit Errors
You can automatically inject multiple bit errors at a set rate
into the transmitted data stream while a BER Test is running.
To do this :
Choose F3 Start Bit Errors to display a sub-menu of
error rates.
Highlight a rate at which to inject errors. Press ENTER
to save and exit the sub-menu and start injecting errors
at the specified rate.
To stop automatically injecting errors, choose F3 Stop
Bit Errors.
