When the CIR reading is flashing it means that no DE 'set'
frames have been received, so the actual CIR has not yet
been reached. Once aurora
frames, the value displayed is the actual CIR of the DLCI.

Performing a Frame Load Test

This test lets you transmit frames across the network for a
particular DLCI.
Choose Frame Load Test in the Setup Test Config
menu to display the Frame Load Test Config
menu.
Specifying the DLCI transmission rate
To specify the number of frames to be transmitted per
second:
Highlight Rate and press the RIGHT arrow key to
display the Rate sub-menu.
Enter the number of frames per second. This rate
must be between 1 and 10, 000.
Press ENTER to save and exit the Rate sub-menu.
The frame rate entered is now displayed in the
Setup Test Config window.
Including a Test Pattern
Pattern displays QBF - the standard Quick Brown Fox test
pattern is included in all the transmitted frames. Refer to the
Glossary for the exact contents of this pattern.
