Cyclic Redundancy Check. This is used to ensure the integrity

of frames transmitted across the network. This is a
mathematical operation based on the Frame Check Sequence
(FCS).
Channel Service Unit. This is switching equipment which

Demand channel. This is one of the multiplexed channels in

the ISDN information stream. The Demand channel carries
signalling and call setup information (the 'demands') and can
also be used for packet data transmission to the subscriber.

provides a method of prioritizing frames whose DE bits are
not set.
