Setting up a Test

To set up a new test :
• Press the F5 Setup Test function key from the Test
Results/Status window. This function key is not
available if a test is currently running or the DLCI is
the Management Channel. The Setup Test Config
menu is displayed.
In addition to letting you change the interface or DLCI
value, this menu lists a number of tests which can be
performed on a DLCI.
Selecting the other interface for the test
The Setup Test Config menu displays the current interface.
To select the other interface for the test :
• Choose Interface to display a sub-menu showing the
two interfaces.
• Select the other interface. On exiting the sub-menu the
new interface is displayed.
Selecting a different DLCI for the test
The Setup Test Config menu displays the currently selected
DLCI value. To change this value :
• Choose DLCI to display a sub-menu showing available
DLCI values.
• Choose the appropriate DLCI. On exiting the sub-
menu the new DLCI value is displayed.
