Selecting a test to run
The Setup Test Config menu displays a list of tests which
can be performed on a DLCI. The tests are as follows:
CIR Test
CIR Receive Test
Frame Load Test
Frame Receive Test
Frame Loop Test
Variable Load Test
Ping Test
Ping Receive Test
Receive Throughput
Test

Use this option to measure the
Committed Information Rate
(CIR)
Use this option to measure the
amount of information it receives
from the far end.
Use this option to transmit frames
over the link.
Use this option to analyze the
frames received over the link.
Use this option to loop data for
either a particular interface or for
a particular DLCI.
Choose this option to test the
CIR values at both the receive
and transmit ends of the
interface.
Use this option to generate IP
Ping.
Use this option to receive IP
Ping.
Choose this option to test the
CIR values at the receive end of
the interface.
