Once you have selected the appropriate option, aurora
sets up the SVC and the DLCI Management window
displays statistical information about it.
Disconnecting an SVC
When the DLCI Management window is displayed, you
can disconnect a connected SVC.
• Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight the
SVC you wish to delete on the DLCI Management
window.
• Press the MENU key to access the DLCI Management
menu.
• Choose the SVC Disconnect option on the DLCI
Management menu. The SVC is disconnected and
the DLCI Management window displays Release
against the DLCI status.
Adding & Deleting Fixed DLCIs
Fixed DLCIs let you generate traffic without any signalling
being involved.
Adding a fixed DLCI
• Choose the Add Fixed option from the DLCI
Management menu to display the Add Fixed sub-
menu.
• Enter a valid DLCI value and press ENTER to save
and exit. This number must be within the given
range or *CHECK RANGE* is displayed. The DLCI
Management window displays the new DLCI and
the status shows Fix Active.
