DLCI
Data Link Control Identifier. This is the 'address'
field which allows the network to route the frame to
the appropriate destination. The DLCI is a 10 bit
number; its position is split within the header.
These 10 bits permit over a thousand virtual circuit
addresses, over every interface. As the frame travels
through the network the DLCI may change,
reflecting the route taken.
C/R
Command Response Bit (Optional). This bit is not
used by the Frame Relay protocol.
