Freeing an Interface

To free an interface for use by another application :
• Choose Free Intf. from the Application Menu (this
option is only available if the interface is currently
assigned to an application). The interface
immediately becomes available and may now be
reassigned.

About Applications

There are two main applications - Frame Relay and Physical
Testing. You can run one application per interface at a time.

Selecting an Application

Once you have chosen an interface with which to work,
from the Main Menu, you can choose an application :
• Choose an application from the Application Menu.
The options are as follows :
Physical
Frame Relay
Free Intf
The Frame Relay and Physical testing applications are
discussed in detail in the following chapters.

Layer using aurora .
Tempo
Use this option to perform Frame
Relay testing with aurora
Tempo
Choose this option to free an interface
