Setting the DLCI Address Length

You can set up either a 2,3 or 4 byte header in the Frame
Relay frame :
Choose DLCI Addr len in the Link Configuration
menu to display a sub-menu of address lengths.
Choose from 2, 3 or 4 bytes. On exiting the sub-
menu your selection is displayed.

Setting the Interface type

You can set the type of signalling interface. You may find
it useful to refer to Equipment Interface Reference Points
in Chapter 8 for further information.
Choose Interface type in the Link Configuration
menu to display a sub-menu of interface types.
Choose the interface type. On exiting the sub-menu
your selection is displayed.
The interface types are as follows :
User - Net
Net - User
Net - Net

Note
If you select Net - Net signalling, only bidirectional LMI
protocols are available; similarly if you select User - Net
or Net - User signalling, only unidirectional LMI
protocols are available.
