Test the Oscillate Axle
(if equipped)
Proper axle oscillation is essential to safe machine
operation. If the axle oscillation system is not
operating correctly, the stability of the machine is
compromised and it may tip over.
1 Start the engine from the platform controls.
2 Drive the right steer tire up onto a 6 inch
(15 cm) block or curb.
Result: The three remaining tires should stay in
firm contact with the ground and the chassis
should remain level at all times.
3 Drive the left steer tire up onto a 6 inch (15 cm)
block or curb.
Result: The three remaining tires should stay in
firm contact with the ground and the chassis
should remain level at all times.
4 Drive both steer tires up onto a 6 inch (15 cm)
block or curb.
Result: The non-steer tires should stay in firm
contact with the ground.
If the chassis does not remain
level during test, see Repair
