Check the Exhaust System

Maintaining the exhaust system is essential to
good engine performance and service life. Running
the engine with a damaged or leaking exhaust
system can cause component damage and unsafe
operating conditions.
Bodily injury hazard. Do not
inspect while the engine
is running. Remove the key to
secure from operation.
Bodily injury hazard. Beware of
hot engine components. Contact
with hot engine components may
cause severe burns.
1 Diesel models: Remove the 2 bolts from under
the engine pivot plate. Swing the engine pivot
plate away from the machine to access the
exhaust system.

2 All models: Be sure that all nuts and bolts are
