Introduction
Before the 'Replace fuser roller' procedure can be completed, the heating element
must be reinstalled.

Caution
During operation, the components in the fuser station and the heating ele-
ment reach a surface temperature of approximately 230
components can cause burns.
Wear heat protection gloves!
The heating element glass can be damaged.
Only touch the heating element at the handle and wearing heat protection
gloves and, if necessary, support it at the other end with a gloved hand.
1. Open the packaging of the new heating element.
Only grasp the heating element by the handle and carefully remove from the
packaging.
If required, support the new heating element with the other hand.

system and lock the heating el-
