Preparing corotron replacement
Attention:
Before replacing the corotrons, please observe the safety directives in the section
Replacing the corotrons - overview on page
This section only applies if the message 'Replace corotrons' is displayed. All
corotrons must be replaced.
Note:
A different procedure applies when replacing a torn corotron wire (see
charge corotron on page 364
To prepare for corotron replacement

Proceed as follows:
1.
If the printing system has not yet stopped, click the 'Stop' button.
2.
On the operator panel, select the 'Replace consumables' -> 'Replace coro-
trons' menu.
3.
Click the 'OK' button to start the corotron replacement process.

Click the 'OK' button to move the corotrons to the test position.
5.
Open the cover and both doors at the front of the printing system.
