Replacing the photoconductor drum - overview

Caution:
The photoconductor drum may only be replaced by operators after
training or instructions from service personnel.
When replacing the photoconductor drum, always wear the gloves
provided.
Skin ailments can result from touching the photoconductor drum.
If you touch the belt, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Keep photoconductor drums out of the reach of children.
Attention:
In the event that pieces of the photoconductor drum coating flake off, you
must collect all these pieces.
Store old photoconductor drums and any flakes of coating in the original
drum cartons, and keep for collection by service or the contracted shipping
company.
Photoconductor drums and collected flakes of coating require special
disposal.
If the photoconductor drum had only a short service life, the cause of the
problem must be identified in order to prevent further damage.
Use only permitted photoconductor drums.
Store new photoconductor drums in appropriate conditions:
- Do not store together with flammable substances.
- Store in the closed original carton in a dry environment at 15 to 25 oC .
