Resource installation
Requirement
The Key Operator or an operator authorized by the Key Operator must be logged on.
To install a resource

Proceed as follows:
1.
If the printing system has not yet stopped, click the 'Stop' button.

Deactivate all channel links to the host. Also click the following button for
the respective channel in the 'Channels' menu:

Insert the USB memory stick with the new resources into the USB port (on
printer 1 for twin/triplex printing systems). The USB port is located below
the operator panel keyboard.

On the operator panel, select:

Under 'New', select one of the displayed resources and click the 'Install' but-
ton.
The file will be tested and converted. Once the installation is complete, the
file will be displayed under 'Current'.
For I mode:
'VarioStream' -> 'Emulations' -> 'I mode' -> 'Resource management'
menu
For PCL mode:
'VarioStream' -> 'Emulations' -> 'PCL mode' -> 'Resource management'
