For most papers, it is not necessary to adjust the brake roller position!
Always try first to remedy the paper path problem with a different setting for the
guide roller. This adjustment option is only recommended for users who already
have a good deal of experience with printing systems.
If the paper in the printer runs backwards

First try to reinsert the paper and select a higher contact pressure for the
guide roller.

If this does not work, or if the
stability of the paper does not
permit another setting for the
guide roller:
Loosen the binding screw (A),
while holding the adjustment
knob (eccentric) (B) firmly
with the other hand.
