Display description
You can drectly touch keys on the control panel for machne operaton.
Functons and values can be changed by touchng the keys or tabs shown on the
dsplay.

Functon
Dsplays the machne's current status, operaton nstructons,
error messages and other nformaton.
Indcates whether the dsplayed folder shortcut lst s shared or
personal.
To dsplay the personal shortcut lst, press [Logn] and then
select your user account.
Dsplays the current date, tme and amount of memory aval-
able.
Dsplays the regstered folder shortcuts.
Press ths to browse the network to specfy the folder.
Dsplays the shortcuts n alphabetcal or numerc order.
Adds or edts a destnaton.
Dsplays five functons frequently used.
NOTE
• The dsplayed soft key wll vary dependng on the "e-mal",
"Folder" and "User" tabs.
• You can assgn other functons to the soft keys accordng your
needs. (See "Soft keys" on page 9-77.)
