Fax forwarding

Ths feature tells the machne to forward the receved document automatcally to
another destnaton. You can set the tme perod for the machne to perform ths
procedure.
NOTE
• Fax forwardng s not compatble wth pollng documents.
• Fax forwardng s not avalable wth the "Tel Ready" recepton mode.
The fax forwardng settngs are dfferent dependng on your network connecton.
• When your machne s connected to the network:
The fax forwardng settngs must be configured usng a web browser. You can
configure the detaled transfer rule. From the control panel on your machne,
you can toggle [ON] or [OFF] for fax forwardng when the transfer rule has been
configured.
• When your machne s not connected to the network:
You can smply set the fax forwardng rule from the control panel.
NOTE
The followng are descrptons when the machne s not connected to the network.

4, "Usng the Admn Tools," n the PC User's Guide.
Turning fax forwarding ON or OFF
NOTE
To turn ON fax forwardng, you must regster at least one transfer rule.
(See "Regsterng or edtng a transfer rule" on page 5-44.)
Select "ON" n the fax forwardng settng to swtch the ndvdual transfer rules to
ON. Faxes wll be forwarded accordng to the regstered rules.

Press <Settng>, [Fax Settngs], [Fax Forward], [Settng].
